Always Remember and Never Forget
Join me and help educate against hate, please give today.
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
My Bat Mitzvah project is in memory of my Bat Mitzvah twin, Chaya Zirl Gabelman, a young girl who was murdered in the Holocaust. For my project, I will be interviewing a Holocaust survivor, Bea Israel. In her honor, I am collecting donations for an important organization, Voices of Hope.
Voices of Hope promotes a culture of courage to stand up against hatred through Holocaust and genocide education and remembrance.
Your donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal to help others never forget the lessons learned from the Holocaust and other genocides.
For every donation, I will send you a Holocaust Remembrance Bracelet designed by me. Each bracelet is yellow and black, the colors of the Star of David that Jews were forced to wear. There are 6 opposite colored beads that represent the 6 million Jews that perished in the Holocaust. Lastly, a beautiful Star of David charm signifies the hope that we will be able to educate as many people as possible to never repeat this atrocity and other genocides.
