An Evening with Sabina Baral

Join us for an evening with author Sabina Baral who will be discussing her book Notes from Exile which tells her personal story and that of approximately 13,000 surviving Polish Jews who were exiled from Poland in 1968.

Following Israel's 1967 victory against Soviet backed Arab countries, Polish Jews were labelled disloyal Zionists resulting in the loss of their citizenship, jobs and education.

Join us on Monday, August 17 to learn more about this little known history that stripped Poland's surviving Jews of their citizenship less than 25 years after the end of the Shoah.
